Katarzyna Przezwańska is born in 1984. In her work she often makes reference to nature and architecture. She combines both of these fields in the need of improving the quality of human life, trying to make her art entirely utilitarian. The artist is equally inspired by vernacular architecture and classical architects of the twentieth century, as by the vegetation of plants or by large geological phenomena. She creates architectural interventions, installations, paintings, often using natural materials such as rocks, minerals or plants. She took part in exhibitions in the most important Polish art institutions, i.a. CCA in Warsaw, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, National Museum in Warsaw and Abteibergmuseum in Monchengladbach. She is represented by the Dawid Radziszewski Gallery, lives and works in Warsaw.
