Simon Ripoll-Hurier is born in 1985. He lives and works in Paris. In the crossing of music and visual arts, he has been working on “collective images” such as Hollywood (Translations, 2008-2010), Broadway (The Broadway Melody, 2010-2013), the clouds (This Cannot Be Natural, 2012-2014), or dreams (Dreamland, 2013). Since 2014, he is developing “Diana”, a film research starting from a radio transmission technique using Moon reflexion, and gathering a collection of “listening practices” involving radio hams, birdwatchers, ghost hunters… He also plays with les Agamemnonz, an instrumental surf music band, and co-founded *DUUU, an artist-based web radio.
