Erik Samakh has been creating interactive sound installations with natural and/or electronic materials since the 1980s. His “acoustic ecology” is a dialogue between man and nature where images lose their power over space, which becomes a place for listening. Many of his works have been performed in natural sites such as regional parks or geological reserves.
